ARTIST STATEMENT
My artistic practice inhabits the space between reality, dreams, and the subconscious. Nature, architecture, light, and reflections become fragments of memory and perception, elements through which the visible world begins to shift. I work intuitively, creating images directly in camera and approaching photography as a form of painting rather than straightforward documentation. Familiar structures in nature and my surroundings are transformed into quiet, contemplative spaces where the monumental meets the fragile, and presence encounters absence. By keeping the narrative open, I invite the viewer to pause and enter the image through their own memories, associations, and emotions. Creativity emerges for me within this openness, in the space between what we see, what we imagine, and what we feel. It is a threshold where reality can become something else, and where the world remains available for reimagining.
